For designers (fashion, graphic, technical) on all levels (assistant, associate, senior) who have limited
or some knowledge of Illustrator needing to do any of the following:
• learn computer skills specific to the fashion industry and NOT taught in a regular computer class
• need to learn the program quickly and start drawing flats today
• improve your Illustrator skills and/or better understand the program

Class will cover all of the following topics:
• illustrator basics (tools, palettes, workspace)
• using basic shapes
• using the pen tool to draw detailed and precise flat sketches
• creating custom color swatches and patterns to fill bodies
• masking photoshop graphics and prints into bodies
• creating a presentation board

Students receive a beginner's manual with tutorials for the class and a graphic resource CD (which includes graphic & trim libraries, croquis and quick reference guides & notes).

Students also receive a 2 hour followup, private session with the instructor. Session is treated as a private training session and MUST be scheduled within 3 months of taking the class.
